How Does it Work?
When the stone comes into contact with the hammer or blow bar in the working area, the impact of the hammer on the high-speed rotating rotor preliminarily crushes it and is then thrown back onto the apron of the machine for a second impact. The stone rebounds in this manner until the rotating hammer is hit again. The process is repeated as often as necessary to crush the stone to the desired size before it is discharged from the outlet. By changing the gap between the rotor and the apron, the particle size and shape of the finished product can be adapted to achieve a smaller or finer gradation.
